NanoMDx Inc. closed the seed round financing to advance its point-of-care diagnostic products

NanoMDx Inc., a clinical diagnostic company based in Northborough, MA company today announced the close of seed round financing. The seed round was raised from a group of qualified individual investors. The co-founder and a Board member, Karl Qin (President of Biopharma Vision) commented, “We were very pleased to be able to raise significant amount of capital from a group of investors who are highly experienced professionals in health care and life science. We expect this round of financing will allow us to complete the first prototype of our real-time clinical diagnostic system, and generate crucial proof-of-concept data. We look forward to demonstrate the superior performance features that will be attractive to clinicians for their needs in point-of-care diagnostics.”
NanoMDx Inc. is a development stage medical device company based in Northboro, MA. It develops and commercializes a suite of point-of-care molecular diagnostic products. NeoBioMed Inc entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with DFJ Portage Venture to commercialize TransLinkTM technology in Greater China Markets. NeoBiomed co-founder, Karl Qin, President of Biopharma Vision LLC commented, “TransLinkTM technology platform was pioneered by world renowned Harvard researcher, Dr. Howard Green (Harvard Medical School, Member of American Academy of Science). It is an unique drug delivery system which has a broad range of applications, including dry eye, post-surgery anti-adhesion, anti-fungal, and cosmetics OTCs. The lead product, PCS 101 has entered phase I clinical study with encouraging results. We believe it has high potential to be developed into multiple products serving multiple markets in China. We are very excited to work with Dr. Green and the colleagues in Harvard medical community to advance the technology.”
TransLink™ system: it was developed by Dr. Howard Green at HMS, the only drug delivery technology which uses body’s endogenous enzyme to enable long-term sustained, on-site delivery of therapeutic agents. The lead product, PCS 101 has been tested in human phase I clinical trial for dry eye with encouraging results. The development of the technology had been funded by US government grants, VC and Pharma partners for over $7M.

Biopharma Vision today announced that it had completed a comprehensive commercial review of the entire R&D portfolio for a client company in Andover, MA. On the behalf of client, Biopharma Vision conducted an extensive commercial assessment of 3 distinctive products in the areas of ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat). For each of the 3 products, Biopharma Vision assessed & analyzed a broad range of business issues, including technological feasibility, clinical needs, development risk & timeline, addressable market & commercial potential, regulatory strategy, pricing & reimbursement, financial projection & valuations.
Karl Qin, President of Biopharma Vision commented, " In the past several months, we had worked very closely with the senior management team of the client company & its SAB (Scientific Advisory Board) members in formulating and validating its R&D and commercial strategies. Biopharma Vision completed a Japanese licensing& distribution agreement for its client in Maynard, MA

Biopharma vision today announced that on behalf of its client based in Maynard, MA, it had successfully negotiated and assisted in entering into a licensing and distribution agreement with a premier Japanese life science company. The agreement allows the Japanese partner to immediately market and distribute the client's first proprietary product in cell based research and drug discovery in Japan.
